I absolutely adore Indian influence in design, whether architecture, decor or fashion. Today’s designers are embracing the vivid jewel-tone colors and extravagant patterns beloved by maharajas for years.
If you are using an Indian inspired wedding theme for your décor, or even organising a bachelorette guided by the lavish colours, textiles, beautiful henna tattoos, outfits & food; I suggest you make your way over to the Indian Expo at the CTICC. It ends this Sunday 25th May, and only costs R20 to get in.

Exhibitors are coming from India, Pakistan and Iran selling exquisite traditional clothing, home décor, jewelry, leather goods, gift items, and carpets. The colours are strikingly fabulous, and the product is genuinely unique.
