The Dream Dress part 1

So I think that my wedding dress was pretty amaze, but see for yourself.

I had the notion that all fabulous brides should have more than one dress at their wedding; this is becoming more & more popular actually. The only problem came when I realized what one would cost me! As you know my standards are pretty high when it comes to quality, and with all the gorgeous wedding gowns out there these days, how could I settle for anything less than perfection?

And so… I decided to have my dream wedding dress made by the best in the business – proudly South African and Cape Town based designers – KLuK CGDT.

The experience working with them was so special, and one I will always treasure. Malcolm Kluk and Christiaan Du Toit are amazing human beings and so awesome at what they do. They made me feel like a rock star and truly made the bridal experience sparkle for me.

To achieve the two dream wedding dresses with budget in mind, I had one dress, and then a gorgeous skirt made separately to make the dress look different for the wedding ceremony.

I believe that your wedding day is the one day you should really be able to splash out on a dress and not feel remorse, however, over-spending on a wedding dress is also a silly thing to do because it is something that you only wear once. Know exactly what your budget is going in, and stick to it!

Either way its your wedding day, Mother Nature and her fairies will make sure that you look absolutely amazing and the best version of yourself anyway. Enjoy my beautiful pictures, all by Ryan Graham Photography.
